Teeley Assets Weanlings Major MM Drawcard
Among what promises to be an astonishing National Sale at the Gold Coast for Magic Millions, Sunday's opening weanling session features 28 yearlings from the Teeley Assets Dispersal and Reduction. Owned by Sri Lankan businessman Muzaffar Yaseen, Teeley Assets has enjoyed another stellar year on the track. While last season's lamplighter was diminutive Gr1 Blue Diamond heroine Miracles Of Life (Not A Single Doubt), the past few months have belonged to sprint sensation Lankan Rupee (Redoute's Choice) and exciting young colt Rubick who looks destined for a major Spring. A total of seven Teeley-bred horses have compiled 12 Group or Listed stakes wins and seven stakes placings this season, and the dams of all but two of them are for sale next week. Teeley Assets Bloodstock Manager Iris O'Farrell commented ahead of the sales extravaganza: "It is the best time to sell, when things are going so well. We've really enjoyed breeding, but now it's time for other people to have fun with our horses and we can enjoy following them." Yaseen remains in the ownership of stallions Redoute's Choice, Manhattan Rain, Not A Single Doubt, Stratum & Echoes of Heaven, and his racing interests will continue in the form of his famous yellow, red, orange & lime silks visible for some time to come.
