Cambridge Stud Announces Fees

Tuesday, 27th May 2014

Sir Patrick Hogan's Cambridge Stud has announced its service fees for its 2014 stallion roster, reports breednet.com.au. The 2014 breeding season will usher in a new era for the leading New Zealand nursery, which will be without either Sir Tristram or Zabeel for the first time in 39 years. However, the roster is still full of quality featuring a mix of proven and promising sires that offer broodmare owners plenty of value. "I've set my stallion fees this year continuing a policy at Cambridge Stud that appreciates the need for broodmare owners to be able to breed a horse with a minimum of risk," Sir Patrick said. "All our fees come with a live foal guarantee, but to help in these difficult times any breeder with a mare in foal to a Cambridge Stud stallion will not have to pay the fee until June 30 next year." He added, "Along with the value I believe we're offering it will provide breeders with more breathing space." Cambridge Stud's (GST exclusive) 2014 roster is:

  • Keeper - $8,000
  • Cape Blanco - $14,000
  • Power - $9,000
  • Tavistock – $7,000
  • Burgundy - $6,000
