Kingston Hill Targeting Ebor Meeting

Monday, 4th August 2014

Roger Varian has confirmed Kingston Hill (Mastercraftsman-Audacieuse, by Rainbow Quest) will have his next start at this month's Ebor meeting at York. The Epsom Derby runner-up has entries in both the Gr2 Great Voltigeur Stakes and the Gr1 Juddmonte International on the Knavesmire. Kingston Hill was last seen finishing fourth in the Gr1 Coral Eclipse at Sandown behind Mukhadram and has options over various distances. "After the Eclipse he had an easy couple of weeks. I think he's set for a great second half of the season," Varian told At The Races. "He's entered in everything, from 10 furlongs to the Leger over a mile and six, but the plan is to run at York. He's got plenty of options, but he's a very good horse."
