Meeting To Discuss Wyong Race Club's Future

Tuesday, 5th August 2014

Wyong Race Club (WRC) will hold a public meeting on 11 August in the first step towards restructuring the troubled central coast club. The Public Information Meeting will be held in the Murray Doyle Lounge at the race club at 6pm and is open to all WRC members, sponsors, licensed persons and the public. The agenda will cover the recent Wyong Race Club Show Cause decision handed down by Racing NSW that saw the appointment of administrator John Rouse to replace the elected committee, and the election process and proposed timing for a new Board election. "Race Club members, trainers, sponsors, owners and any other interested parties are invited to attend this public meeting," said WRC chief executive David Jewell. "The purpose of the meeting is to update everyone on where the Wyong Race Club is at and plans for the coming year."
