Terravista Close To Return

Monday, 11th August 2014

Meanwhile, Joe Pride has confirmed that promising sprinter Terravista, a half-brother to Tiger Tees, will resume in the Gr3 Show County Quality (1200m) at Royal Randwick on 28 August, reports racingandsports.com.au. Terravista, a dual Gr3 winner in the autumn, had a hit-out at the beginning of this month and will trial again on Friday. "He's going to have his second trial on the 15th, this Friday at Warwick Farm and then we'll go to the Show County on the 23rd," Pride told Sky Sports Radio. "So he's only a couple of weeks away now, which I am pretty excited about." Pride nominated Terravista as the best horse in his stable and said he would be aimed at the Gr1 Epsom Handicap at Royal Randwick on 4 October. "Terravista is a stand-out for me," Pride added. "I'm pretty sure he's the best horse I've got, we'll find out soon enough, but he's just exciting. The way he can sit on a fast pace and accelerate...he's a very good horse."
