Australian-Bred Juveniles Dominate South African Awards

Still in South Africa, Australian-bred juveniles Harry's Son (Haradasun-Dash On Ruby, by Anabaa) & Majmu (Redoute's Choice-Spontaneous, by Hussonet) were crowned Champion 2YO Colt and Champion 2YO Filly respectively at the Equus Awards in South Africa on Wednesday, reports breednet.com.au. Harry's Son recently won the Gr1 Premier's Champion Stakes, South Africa's most prestigious race for juveniles following a string of Gr1 placings, while the unbeaten Majmu, trained by Mike de Kock, landed the Gr2 South African Fillies Nursery. Three-time Gr1-winning colt Legislate (Dynasty-Champers, by Restructure) confirmed his status as the new star of South African racing when named 2103-14 Horse of the Year. Other winners on the night included:
