Largest Japan Yearling Sale Starts Monday

Thursday, 21st August 2014

In other Japanese news, the Hokkaido Summer Sale, the largest yearling sale in Japan, will be held this year for four days from Monday, August 25 to 28 inclusive, where approximately 1,200 horses will be offered. The horses consigned represent a wide range of pedigrees at a sale that traditionally offers good value for money. Last year's renewal averaged approximately US$40,000. Hokkaido in August, when the Summer Sale will be held, is very pleasant, with comparatively cool temperatures for summer and low humidity.
