Australian Sires Premiership Update

After 31 weeks of the 2014-15 racing season, Coolmore's Fastnet Rock retains pole position on the sires leader board. The son of Danehill is $630,494 (total progeny earnings) clear of his nearest rival Redoute's Choice, Arrowfield's reigning Champion Australian Sire and a fellow son of the incomparable breed-shaper Danehill. And making a triumphal entry into the upper echelon this week is Machiavellian's deceased son Street Cry, courtesy of his son Pride Of Dubai's brilliant victory in last weekend's $1 million Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes. The latest Top Ten rankings (according to arion.co.nz as at 5 March) are:
