Slightly Sweet Wins Gr3 Keith Nolan Classic

At Kembla Grange in the NSW Illawarra, Gr1-winning Arrowfield Stud stallion Charge Forward (Red Ransom-Sydney's Dream, by Bletchingly) added a Group success when 3YO filly Slightly Sweet (Charge Forward-Semitone, by Dubai Destination) scored by 0.1-length for trainer Jason Coyle in the $200,000 Gr3 Keith Nolan Classic (1600m) for 3YO fillies, over fellow 3YO fillies Wine Tales (Tale of the Cat-Vinavion, by Flying Spur) & Heavens Above (Street Cry-Reggie, by Germano). This was the first stakes victory for Slightly Sweet who took her record to 3 wins and 2 placings (including the Gr2 Surround Stakes & Gr2 Light Fingers Stakes) from 6 starts for $244,400 earnings. Slightly Sweet was passed in for $27,500 at the 2013 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Twin Palms Stud.
