Tavistock Fee Announcement Soon

Tuesday, 17th March 2015

Sir Patrick Hogan announced yesterday morning that the 2015 service fee for exciting young stallion Tavistock (Montjeu-Upstage, by Quest For Fame) will be announced before the end of the month. Speaking on the Cambridge Stud website, Sir Patrick said: "I am in discussions with the Tavistock Syndicate's Management Committee and expect to make an announcement on his fee in the next week or so, certainly before the end of March." Tavistock clearly leads the New Zealand Second Season Stallion Premiership and already has 8 stakes performers with his oldest crop being 3YOs. Leading the way for Tavistock has been his brilliant 3YO son Volkstok'n'Barrell, winner of the Gr2 Great Northern Guineas, Listed Bonecrusher Stakes and runner-up in the Gr1 New Zealand Derby. His other stakes winners are Avisto and Tavy, while Midnitemagicman, Diamond Valores, Longchamp, Titanium and Imperial Lass have all been placed at stakes level. Tavistock's statistics are impressive. According to Arion Pedigrees, from just 50 runners he has had 19 individual winners off 33 races including 3 stakes winners (and 5 stakes placegetters) for over $1.1 million prize money.
