Easter Yearlings Arrive In Sydney
Easter Yearlings have started arriving at Inglis' Newmarket sales complex at Randwick in Sydney and will be ready for buyer inspections over the coming days. Arrowfield Stud, Kitchwins Hills, Ruane and Landsdowne Park will be the first ready to parade their quality Inglis Easter drafts for prospective buyers starting today, Tuesday 31 March. By tomorrow morning, 70% of the 2015 Easter yearlings will be available for inspection, while nearly all vendors will be parading their drafts by Thursday morning. The history of many of Australia's past and current day champions is intrinsically tied to the Newmarket sales complex where Inglis have been conducting thoroughbred yearling sales since 1906. The 2015 Inglis Easter Sale will be held on 7, 8 and 9 April next week, with selling on all three days of the sale beginning at 11:00am. Inglis Easter is nestled between the two major racing days of The Championships held at Royal Randwick, just around the corner from Newmarket. Day One of The Championships this Saturday 4 April features an action-packed 10 race card, including four Group 1 races and the new $300,000 NSW Country Championships Final.
