Trainers Prize Money Freeze Appeal Next Week
Danny O'Brien and Mark Kavanagh will have their appeals against a spring prize money freeze heard by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board next Wednesday, 19 August, reports Racing.com. The Flemington-based trainers lodged an appeal against Racing Victoria stewards decision last week to freeze all prize money won by horses in their care in Group and Listed races over the spring carnival until their respective cobalt cases have been finalised. Fellow trainers Peter Moody and father-son team Lee and Shannon Hope opted to accept the condition imposed on them by stewards.
