Belle Miraaj Out For Season

Friday, 11th September 2015

Dual stakes-winning filly Belle Miraaj (Iffraaj-Beach Dance, by Carnegie) has been ruled out of the spring with a bruised tendon, reports theinformant.co.nz. The 4YO daughter of Iffraaj suffered the injury when she got one of her front legs over the metal gate of her loose box last week. "It's a minor injury, but it will take time," trainer and part-owner Gay Robinson said. "We're going to let her grow and mature. She's very leggy." Belle Mirraj was one of the South Island's leading three-year-olds last season, winning the Listed Gore and Southland Guineas, as well as finishing third behind Platinum Witness in the Gr1 New Zealand 1,000 Guineas.
