Disposition Wins Listed The Sofitel

Monday, 14th September 2015

At Flemington in Melbourne, Darley's unbeaten multiple Gr1-winning stallion Reset (Zabeel-Assertive Lass, by Zeditave) added a black-type success when 4YO gelding Disposition (Reset-Test Case, by Testa Rossa) scored by 1-length for new trainers Lee & Anthony Freedman in the $120,000 Listed The Sofitel (1400m) for 4YO+, over 6YO gelding Akavoroun (Lacryma Cristi-Salquetta, by Salieri) & 4YO entire Pressing (Sebring-Lamiraqui, by Choisir). A homebred for prominent WA owner and breeder Bob Peters, Disposition took his record to 5 wins (including the WATC Listed Fairetha Stakes & WATC Belgravia Stakes) and 3 placings (including the Gr1 Kingston Town Classic) from 9 starts for $508,500 earnings. Trainer Lee Freedman said Disposition was likely to have his next start in the Gr1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on 26 September. "He's a really high-class horse and he can only improve on that going forward," Freedman told Racing.com.
