Blinkers Go On Perfect Reflection For Australian Guineas

Tuesday, 1st March 2016

Meanwhile, exceptionally talented Bob Peters-owned 3YO filly Perfect Reflection (More Than Ready-Reflected Image, by Bluebird) will be trialled in blinkers ahead of her start in the Gr1 Australian Guineas (1600m) next weekend, reports horse racing.com.au. Undefeated in her first 5 starts, including wins in the Gr1 Kingston Town Classic & Gr3 Champion Fillies Stakes in Perth, Perfect Reflection performed solidly in her East coast debut for trainer Darren Weir when beaten a length into 3rd behind Don't Doubt Mamma and Egypt in the Gr3 Vanity Stakes at Flemington. Scheduled to have a track gallop at Ballarat this morning, she will sport blinkers for the first time to give Weir an indication of whether to use them or not in Saturday's high profile Gr1 event for 3YOs at Flemington.
