Inglis Melb Premier Day-3: $700,000 Snitzel Colt
On Day-3 of the 2016 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, a colt by Arrowfield's high profile stallion Snitzel (Redoute's Choice-Snippet's Choice, by Snippets) sold for $700,000. Out of the Danehill Dancer mare Beauty World, the colt is a half-brother to dual Gr3 winner Hi World, Gr3 winner Lite In My Veins, Gr3-placed stakes-winner Love Madly, and 2YO Gr1-placed American Crew. The much admired colt, who is closely related to Tuscan Sling, was purchased by L.Hung/Bahen Bloodstock of Hong Kong. The sale-topper, the second highest-priced yearling in Victorian history, was sold through the draft of Blue Gum Farm as agent for Neville Duncan's Western Australian-based Oakland Park Stud, breeders of the champion Northerly.
