The 2015 National Broodmare Sale saw $11.47 million worth of fillies and mares sold to international interests, more than four times more than any comparable sale. The domestic spend of almost $52 million was over $35 million more! Six lots sold last year in Australia for $1 million or more - all six at the National Sale - in fact over the past three years 18 fillies or mares have sold for seven figures in Australasian breeding stock sales, all of them on the Gold Coast! The National Sale Series will conclude with the National Yearling and Racehorse Sales which are both well regarded by buyers, domestic and international.
