Sires' Produce Decision Imminent For Heroic Valour

Tuesday, 22nd March 2016

The connections of Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock-Myrrh, by Nassipour) will make a decision tomorrow morning as to whether or not the boom Kiwi colt will run in the Gr1 Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes on 2 April, reports theinformant.co.nz. The Australian-bred son of Fastnet Rock, who is a half-brother to Gr1 Doncaster Handicap winner Triple Honour, extended his unbeaten record to three when scoring a last stride victory in the Gr1 Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Ellerslie last start. "We just need to decide whether or not he needs another run this season," co-trainer Stephen Autridge said. "We're 50-50 at the moment." He added: "He's stayed in work, he hasn't missed any training or anything like that and we've been happy with him. We just need to do what's best for the horse."
