Thames Court Wins Gr3 Alexandra Stakes

Tuesday, 29th March 2016

At Moonee Valley in Melbourne, Darley's deceased Gr3-winning & multiple Gr1-placed stallion Commands (Danehill-Cotehele House, by My Swanee) added a Group success when 3YO filly Thames Court (Commands-Pantenny, by Canny Lad) scored by 2.5-lengths for trainer David Brideoake in the $150,000 Gr3 Alexandra Stakes (1600m) for 3YO fillies, over fellow fillies Labdien (Stryker-Bold Moment, by Fasliyev) & Sweet Redemption (Snitzel-Redeeming Lass, by Red Ransom). This was the first stakes victory for the talented Thames Court who took her record to 3 wins and 2 placings (including the Gr2 MVRC Moonee Valley Fillies Classic) from 6 starts for $173,150 earnings. Thames Court was purchased for $275,000 by Salanitri Racing at the 2014 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale from the draft of Eliza Park International.
