By Invincible Spirit, Born To Sea is the last foal of Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner and breed-shaping broodmare Urban Sea making him a three-quarter brother to Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner and high profile stallion Sea The Stars (Cape Cross), a half-brother to triple Gr1-winning champion European sire Galileo (Sadler's Wells), as well as Gr1 winners My Typhoon (Giant's Causeway) and Black Sam Bellamy (Sadler's Wells), among others. Trained by John Oxx, Born To Sea won the Listed Blenheim Stakes at two and finished runner-up to Camelot in the Irish Derby at three. He is currently standing alongside his close relation Sea The Stars at the Aga Khan's Irish base of Gilltown Stud for a fee of €10,000.
