Qemah Wins Gr1 Coronation Stakes

On day four of the Royal Ascot carnival in England, former Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) celebrated an elite success when 3YO Irish-bred filly Qemah (Danehill Dancer-Kartica, by Rainbow Quest) scored by 1.75-lengths for trainer Jean-Claude Rouget in the Gr1 Coronation Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YO fillies, over fellow fillies Nemoralia (More Than Ready-Alina, by Came Home) & Alice Springs (Galileo-Aleagueoftheirown, by Danehill Dancer). The Al Shaqab Racing-owned Qemah advanced her record to 3 wins (including the Gr3 Prix de la Grotte) and 3 placings (including the Gr1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches & Gr1 Prix Marcel Boussac) from 6 starts for £340,321 earnings.
