Hasselhoof Progressing Well

Thursday, 23rd June 2016

Meanwhile, co-trainer Donna Logan reports that highly talented New Zealand galloper Hasselhoof (Tavistock-Alpine, by Zabeel) has returned in top order ahead of what is shaping as a lucrative spring campaign. Hasselhoof is unbeaten in six New Zealand starts culminating with his win in the Gr2 Rich Hill Mile at Ellerslie on New Year's Day. He then travelled to Sydney where he finished fourth in his Australian debut at Randwick before his third to Arab Dawn in the Listed Parramatta Cup. "He looks magnificent and there are plenty of options coming up for him," Logan said. Logan holds Hasselhoof in such high regard that she has previously stated she believes he can one day develop into a Melbourne Cup horse.
