Cradle Me To Visit Aquis Farm's Spill The Beans

Tuesday, 28th June 2016

Cradle Me will be among the first mares served by Aquis Farm's exciting young sire Spill The Beans (Snitzel-Miss Dodwell, by Falbrav) following her retirement on the weekend. Purchased by Aquis Farm for $300,000 at the recent Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast, Cradle Me (Easy Rocking-Amphycles, by Machiavellian) bows out the winner of 11 of 51 starts and nearly $700,000 in earnings after finishing a respectable sixth in the Gr1 Tattersall's Tiara at Eagle Farm. The daughter of Easy Rocking was a three-time stakes winner with her biggest win coming in the Gr2 Dane Ripper Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm earlier this month. Recently announced as one of four foundation stallions for Queensland's Aquis Farm, Spill The Beans – who hails from the family of champion filly Bounding Away - ended his racing career on a high when scoring a brilliant win in the Gr2 QTC Cup (1300m) at Eagle Farm two weeks ago. Other notable retirees among the female ranks include The China Horse Club-owned Precious Gem and the Gooree Stud-owned Sultry Feeling, who likewise are both off to stud following last weekend's Tiara.
