Moqueen Wins Listed Dulcify Quality

Tuesday, 4th October 2016

At Royal Randwick in Sydney, former Champion US 2YO & Coolmore shuttler Uncle Mo (Indian Charlie-Playa Maya) added a black-type success when 3YO filly Moqueen (Uncle Mo-Money Begets Money, by Bite the Bullet) scored by 1.3 lengths for trainer Anthony Cummings in the $125,000 Listed Dulcify Quality (1600m) for 3YOs, over 3YO colts Nemrud (Reset-Byzantine, by Elusive Quality) & Earth (Redoute's Choice-Awesome Planet, by Giant's Causeway). Surprisingly this was the first victory for Moqueen who improved her record to 1 win and 2 placings (including the Gr2 ATC Reisling Stakes) from 8 starts for $114,380 earnings. Purchased by Anthony Cummings for $47,000 at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, Moqueen is out of full sister to prolific producer Mica's Pride, dam of multiple Gr1 winning stallion Criterion as well as Gr2 winner Varenna Miss and Listed winner Silently.
