Last Chance For Free Hong Kong Gr1 Feature Nominations
Free entries will close on Monday, October 24, for the rich 2016 Longines Hong Kong International Races run at Sha Tin on December 11. For nominations click on the image below. Known collectively as the Turf World Championships, the race day includes four major Gr1 events in which Australian and New Zealand horses have performed with distinction.
- HK$25 million Longines Hong Kong Cup (2000m): The richest race in Hong Kong, and a premier end of year championship for the world’s top middle distances horses.
- HK$23 million Longines Hong Kong Mile (1600m): The richest turf mile in the world with a legacy of showcasing champions.
- HK$18.5 million Longines Hong Kong Sprint (1200m): The final leg of the Global Sprint Challenge, and ranked among the most competitive and prestigious sprints in the world.
- HK$16.5 million Longines Hong Kong Vase (2400m): Contested over the blue riband distance, this event has been won by European classic stars and Melbourne Cup heroes.
