Australian Sires Premiership Update

After nearly eighteen weeks of the 2016-17 racing season, Darley's deceased shuttler & Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry maintains a healthy lead at the top of the national sires leader board with progeny earnings in excess of $5.6 million. Courtesy of Almandin's victory in the Melbourne Cup, outstanding but ill-fated German stallion Monsun occupies second position with $4.48 million in earnings, while Arrowfield Stud's multiple stakes-winning stallion Not A Single Doubt rounds out the top three with $4.2 million. The Top Ten stallion rankings (according to arion.co.nz as at 1 December) are:
