Odds Makers Leaning Towards Perfect Reflection

Friday, 2nd December 2016

The sentiment of Kawi's trainer Allan Sharrock as to which is the horse to beat in tomorrow's Gr1 Kingston Town Classic (see above item) is shared by bookmakers. Following her excellent third behind Scales Of Justice, who has a shocking draw to contend with, in the Gr1 Railway Stakes two weeks ago, Perfect Reflection is a solid $4.20 quote to repeat last year's victory in the race. While the daughter of Vinery Stud's redoubtable star sire More Than Ready should get all the favours in the run with William Pike retaining the ride, Scales Of Justice will also benefit from having last start's pilot Dougie Whyte in the irons. At $15 from a good draw, the Chris Waller-trained Good Project looks exceptional value given that he has finished first and second in the Gr1 Railway Stakes in his only two starts in Perth, and has Hugh Bowman to pilot him.
