Black-type winning filly Gold Rush is making good progress after a disappointing start to her three-year-old campaign, reports NZ Racing Desk. "She didn't come up as well as we'd hoped in the spring so we gave her a breather and she's looking bright and healthy now," co-trainer Andrew Scott said. Gold Rush, who became the first stakes winner for former champion Australian racehorse So You Think (High Chaparral) when claiming the Gr2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes in February, has failed to flatter in her first two appearances this season.
