Australian Sires Premiership Update

After nearly twenty weeks of the 2016-17 racing season, Darley's deceased shuttler & Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry maintains a healthy advantage atop the national sires leader board with progeny earnings in excess of $5.8 million. Arrowfield Stud's multiple stakes-winning stallion Not A Single Doubt has moved into second position with $4.6 million in earnings, while outstanding but ill-fated German stallion Monsun, courtesy of Almandin's victory in the Melbourne Cup, rounds out the top three with $4.48 million in earnings. The Top Ten stallion rankings (according to arion.co.nz as at 15 December) are:
