Owners Look Overseas With Global Glamour
The connections of Global Glamour (Star Witness-Spectacula, by Testa Rossa) have foreshadowed a possible international campaign for the star filly following the conclusion of the autumn racing carnival in Sydney, reports Racing.com. The aptly named dual Gr1 winner is raced by the It's All About The Girls Syndicate, an all-female ownership group whose members hail from seven different countries. Adrian Bott, who trains the 3YO in partnership with Gai Waterhouse, said an overseas campaign was being looked at. "We are leaving all option opens with her," Bott said. "The main priority for her is the autumn here in Sydney. We've got a number of targets for her here over the carnival before we consider any further targets." Bott added: "There is interest from Hong Kong for her to race there…and Royal Ascot are very keen to see her race over there but no firm commitment will be made until the completion of the carnival here but all options remain open." Global Glamour holds several big race entries over the autumn, including in the Gr1 Doncaster Mile, Gr1 Queen of The Turf Stakes, and Gr1 Coolmore Classic.
