Monday, 20th February 2017

At Launceston in Tasmania, White Robe Lodge's regally bred stallion Raise The Flag (Sadler's Wells-Hasili, Kahyasi) added a black-type success when 3YO filly Parthesia (Raise the Flag-Notable, by Danzighill) scored by 0.4 length for trainer Darren Weir in the $100,000 Listed Tasmanian Oaks (2100m) for 3YO fillies, over fellow fillies Hot Dipped (Written Tycoon-Galvanized, by Rubiton) & Wheal Leisure (Artie Schiller-Sadiya, by Encosta de Lago). This was the first stakes victory for Parthesia who improved her record to 2 wins and 2 placings from 10 starts for $82,150 earnings. Parthesia was a $20,000 purchase by John Foote and Darren Weir Racing at the 2015 NZ Bloodstock South Island Yearling & Mixed Sale from the draft of White Robe Lodge.
