Preferment Half-Sibling On Debut

Friday, 24th February 2017

Meanwhile, a beautifully bred half-brother to multiple Gr1 winner Preferment (Zabeel-Better Alternative, by Flying Spur) is carded to make his debut at Morphettville in Adelaide tomorrow. A NZ$420,000 yearling purchase consigned by Windsor Park at the 2015 NZB National Yearling Sales Series at Karaka, 3YO colt Angelucci is by former multiple champion So You Think (High Chaparral) whose progeny have really coming into their own over the past six months. Trained by Lloyd Kennewell, who purchased the colt with Cameron Cooke, Angelucci is currently a $11 quote for his 1400m maiden outing. A four-time Gr1 winner, Preferment boasts earnings of almost $3.5 million as he builds into his Autumn campaign. Year older full-sister Rezoned won 2014's Gr3 South Australian Fillies Classic.
