Sepoy Filly Wins Debut in South Africa

Touch of Magic, an Australian-bred daughter of former champion 2YO Sepoy, made a winning debut at Scottsville in South Africa overnight when scoring by 2.5 lengths in the Racing It's A Rush Juvenile Plate over 1000m. Prepared by Paul Lafferty, Touch of Magic was a $75,000 purchase by her trainer at the 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Amarina Farm. Touch of Magic is the third foal to race of Gr2 Western Australian Guineas & Listed WATC Belgravia Stakes winner Moccasin Bend, a daughter of US-bred stallion Eternity Range.
