At Flemington in Melbourne, Australia's Champion 2YO Colt of 2007-2008 and Widden Stud sire Sebring (More Than Ready-Purespeed, by Flying Spur) added a black-type success when 4YO mare Turbo Miss (Sebring-Ballet d'Amour, by Stravinsky) scored authoritatively by 0.4 length for trainer Darren Weir in the $151,500 Gr3 Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m) over 6YO mare Rising Romance (Ekraar-Post Romance, by Postponed)) & 4YO mare Jalan Jalan (Foreplay-Impinge, by Generous). Turbo Miss' debut stakes victory took her record to 5 wins and 5 placings from only 17 starts for $183,675 in earnings. Turbo Miss was a $120,000 yearling purchase at the 2014 Gold Coast Magic Millions from the draft of Vinery Stud.
