Land of Plenty Entered in Chairman's Sale
Group 1 performer Land Of Plenty (Stratum-Dancing, by Spectrum) is the latest entrant in Inglis's inaugural The Chairman's Sale - Session I, Elite Racing Prospects. The 3YO finished third in the Gr3 CS Hayes Stakes at Flemington two starts back, before an unlucky run in the Gr1 Australian Guineas at his most recent outing. "This is an extremely underrated racehorse,'' trainer Grahame Begg said. "He's contested his past two races – most recently the Group 1 Australian Guineas – without any luck at all." Begg added: "He's got exceptional ability and I have no doubt whatsoever that the best is yet to come for this talented son of Stratum.'' A 30% interest in Land Of Plenty will be offered at the sale. The Chairman's Sale Session I – Elite Racing Prospects – will be held on Thursday night, March 30 from 5pm, just prior to Day 1 of The Championships. The Chairman's Sale Session II – Elite Breeding Prospects – will take place on Friday night, April 7 from 6pm, the night after the conclusion of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
