Solow Close to Comeback

Monday, 27th March 2017

Star French galloper Solow is expected to be in action before the end of May, reports Sky Sports. That is the word from connections of the outstanding miler who raced just once last year due to injury. In 2015, the grey son of Singspiel established himself as the premier miler in Europe with five successive victories at Gr1 level, namely the Gr1 Dubai Turf Stakes, Gr1 Prix d'lspahan, Gr1 Queen Anne Stakes, Gr1 Sussex Stakes, and Gr1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. "Solow has been in training since the middle of December and so far he has taken every step very well,” said Pierre-Yves Bureau, racing manager for owners the Wertheimer brothers. “Soon he will begin more serious work. We are very cautious as he was out of training for a long time, but at the moment we are very pleased and hopefully we will see him again in the coming months.”
