Australian Sires Premiership Update

After nearly thirty five weeks of the 2016-17 racing season, Arrowfield Stud's high profile Gr1-winning stallion Snitzel maintains a healthy lead at the top of the national sire leader board with progeny earnings of over $10.3 million. Occupying second position is Darley's deceased shuttler & Gr1 Dubai World Cup winner Street Cry with $9.3 million in earnings, while Coolmore's former champion Australian sire Fastnet Rock rounds out the top three with $8.8 million. According to arion.co.nz, the top 10 ranked stallions in Australia (as of 30 March) are:
