Chairman's Catalogue Receives Updates

Monday, 3rd April 2017

Several lots at this week's Inglis Chairman's Sale have received timely pedigree updates after day one of The Championships. The dams of three of the feature winners at Royal Randwick on Saturday – including Group 1 producer Flame of Sydney – will be offered at Friday night's Chairman's Sale. Flame of Sydney, the dam of Gr1 Sires' Produce Stakes winner Invader, is one of three broodmares that are being offered for sale in Friday's The Chairman's Sale Session II (Elite Breeding Prospects) which starts at 5pm. Apart from Flame of Sydney, Opalize (dam of Gr3 Widden 150th anniversary Stakes winner Property) and Adonia Queen (dam of Gr3 Carbine Club Stakes winner Acatour) will also be auctioned. Flame of Sydney has produced five horses to race, three of which are winners, and two are stakes winner, including Hong Kong-based Gr2 winner and Gr1-placed sprinter Not Listenin'tome. She will be offered in foal to Medaglia d'Oro as Lot 51. Meanwhile, Property's dam Opalize will be offered in foal to Newgate Farm's freshman stallion Sizzling (as Lot 70), while Adonia Queen will be offered in foal to Sebring (Lot 41) making the resultant offspring a full relation to Acatour.
