Hampton Court Sibling Set for Debut

Tuesday, 8th August 2017

Mutamayel, a three-quarter sibling to Spendthrift Australia’s Gr1-winning stallion Hampton Court, is set to make his debut in the Polytrack Maiden Plate (1400m) at Pakenham in Victoria today. Trained by the Lindsay Park team of David & Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig, Mutamayel was a $900,000 purchase by Shadwell Stud Australasia at the 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Milburn Creek. By recently crowned Champion Australian Sire Snitzel, Mutamayel is out of the US-bred mare Roses ‘N’ Wine (Broken Vow) making him a three-quarter blood relation to Gr1 Spring Champion Stakes hero Hampton Court (Redoute’s Choice). This is also the family of champion race mare and three-time Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva. Hampton Court will stand at a fee of $6,600 at Spendthrift Australia this coming spring.
