No Everest Decision for Pariah

Tuesday, 29th August 2017

James Harron is refusing to commit Pariah (Redoute's Choice-Secluded, by Hussonet) to a start in The Everest despite the colt's brilliant first-up win in the Gr3 San Domenico Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday. James Harron Bloodstock is one of 12 slot holders who each paid $600,000 to have a runner in the inaugural $10 million The Everest (1200m) to be run at Royal Randwick on 14 October. ''I'm letting it unfold and we'll get through the Golden Rose first,'' Harron said. Pariah, a winner of 2 of his 5 starts, is currently favourite for the $1 million Gr1 Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill on 23 September.
