Gr1 Galaxy Handicap winner Griante has been a good broodmare with both her foals to race being winners including city winner Metro Legend, and her colt, Lot 156, is by second season sire The Autumn Sun who has a stakes-winning 2YO in his first crop. Gr1 winner Ellsberg’s half-brother, Lot 205, is a Shamus Award colt out of a winning full sister to Gr3 winner Electric General. This season’s 2YO Listed winner Magic Time’s half-brother, Lot 416, is a Dundeel colt from Gr3 winner Time Awaits, while another well-bred colt is Lot 247, a Blue Point half-brother to Listed winning 2YO Beethoven, out of a 2YO winning half-sister to Gr3 Vain Stakes winner Jukebox. Recent Listed winner Zoukerino’s half-brother, Lot 447, is a The Autumn Sun colt, out of Listed winner Walk With Attitude. Snitzel filly, Lot 70, is the first foal of imported Gr2 winner Chocolate Martini from a strong American family, while Written Tycoon filly, Lot 165, is out of Hell or Highwater, a young stakes-winning mare whose dam is an American stakes winner. Stunningly well bred mare Lakshmibai’s second foal, an I Am Invincible filly, is Lot 195. Her dam is a half-sister to Champion 2YO Earthquake, Listed winner Palmorares, and a full sister to Listed winner Pandemic, as well as a half-sister to the dam of Gr1 winner Madame Pommery. The first foal of a winning half-sister to three stakes winners from the Makybe Diva family is Lot 196, a Toronado colt. Zoustar filly, Lot 349, is the second foal of Gr3 winner Sexy Eyes, while Lot 386 is a The Autumn Sun colt out of Listed winner Stormy Victoria. All round, it’s an exceptional draft, and obvious Milburn Creek continues to upgrade and invest in its ongoing success.
