Exciting Arrowfield-campaigned 3YO filly Mallory (Not A Single Doubt-Panaroma Ridge, by Empire Maker) has been marked out to follow a Darley Princess Series path. Her trainer Gerald Ryan, inclined to nominate Mallory “for everything”, has been looking forward to stepping the Group 3 winner out over more ground since her rewarding juvenile campaign, and expects she will show great improvement in the spring. Winner of the Gr3 Widden Stakes and placed in both the Gr2 Sweet Embrace Stakes and Gr3 Gimcrack Stakes at two, Not A Single Doubt's valuable daughter's key early 3YO focus is firmly on the Gr1 Flight Stakes that will take place on October 2 at Randwick. Mallory is around $15 in pre-post markets. According to punters.com.au, Ryan revealed, “She is doing well but, with that said, she‘s always been a good doer.” The Princess Series’ Gr2 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) meeting is set for August 21 at Randwick, and Ryan is happy with her recent third place in a Rosehill trial. “I thought it was a nice trial,” Ryan said. “The girl who rode her, Kelly (Flynn), rides all her work unless she [Mallory] is having a serious gallop and she was quite happy with her… We might give her another jump out at home in 10 days or so and then go another 10 days into the race.”
