Rare Blue Point Breeding Right for Auction

A unique opportunity to secure a northern hemisphere breeding right to Darley’s celebrated Shamardal sire-son Blue Point will soon be available on Darley's winning bid platform, according to bloodhorse.com. This offering provides breeders the chance to partner with one of Europe’s rising star stallions, whose impact is already making waves in the industry. Blue Point's initial European crop of foals has proven exceptional, highlighted by the exploits of Big Evs and Rosallion in 2023. Rosallion clinched major victories in the Gr1 Irish Two Thousand Guineas and the Gr1 St James's Palace Stakes, while Big Evs triumphed in the Gr1 King George Stakes at Goodwood and placed third in the prestigious Gr1 King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot. Adding to Blue Point's growing legacy, Kind of Blue emerged as his third Group 1 winner after a commanding performance in the Gr1 British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot this October. His second crop is also displaying immense promise, including Sky Majesty, an unbeaten Group 2 winner of the Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte and one of seven black-type performers from this cohort.
