2026 Willow Park Stud Vendor Profile

Willow Park Stud's Glenn Burrows has built a strong reputation as a trader of broodmares, having incredibly sold the dams of 15 elite winners including recent Group 1 winners Libertad, Quintessa, and Private Harry. "For a long time, we have been successful as broodmare traders. We've recently created partnerships with clients who want to retain that success for themselves and have moved into improving our own broodmare band using the same philosophy that has given buyers of our broodmares such success. We now have 19 mares owned in partnerships on the farm, and are moving into selling yearlings. Let's hope the winning run continues," said Burrows. With horses like Buffering, Samantha Miss, Bounding, Nechita, Anamato, and Star Witness all resulting from Willow Park Stud's mating plans and trading positions, the decision to retain more of their stock and sell as yearlings makes a lot of sense. "The first crop of this new venture were born this season and I'm so excited with them. We have some absolute crackers amongst them and we've had some wonderful pedigree updates to a few of them in the interim since they were purchased too." One of the mares sought out by Burrows for Willow Park is Pretty Woman, the dam of two runners for two stakes winners: Luvnwar (see below) who won the Gr3 La Trice Classic in 2026, and Listed winner Chokito. The winners keep coming with 2026 Listed Wellesley Stakes winner Lassified being out of Exclusive Lass, who Willow Park Stud sold at the 2024 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale for $140,000.  It's not just broodmares. Already, the 2025 yearling graduates are on the board with juvenile colt Stretan Ruler running second in the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes on debut this spring.  "Breeding can be a thorny enterprise. Every breeder knows there are good years and bad. You can, however, increase your odds of success and profit by ensuring you have an objectively positioned professional assisting you in your mare selection and annual matings. You can also ensure the resulting progeny are given the very best start in life."  Willow Park Stud will offer seven yearlings at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, and ten at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
